Adult Greek Language School
The Adult Greek Language School at Saint Barbara Church meets every Thursday evening between September and April.  The Beginner Level Class is held between 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm.

It starts with the introduction of the alphabet (characters, names, sounds, etc.), before the students begin to learn words and phrases.  It highlights the structure of the Greek language and covers twenty lessons of different topics.  Homework is assigned and reviewed in class at the following session.  Testing evaluates the progress of the student.  The student will be reading Greek text by the second session.

The Second Level Class is for students who have completed the Beginner Level or have advanced knowledge of the Greek language, and is held between 8:00 pm and 9:30 pm, from September to April.  The curriculum is more flexible and covers more lessons of various topics, grammar (language structure), or other areas of interest.
